We are all very friendly here at Next Chapter Arts. We have a team of therapists, and all of us are registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of a professional body (i.e BAAT, BACP, BADT, BAMT). All therapists have regular clinical supervision, and we are fully insured to provide therapy, so you know you are in safe hands!

Alexa Molyneux
Director & Art Psychotherapist
Alexa studied Fine Art in 2002 (BA hons), and later qualified as an art therapist in 2012 (MA). She has worked with adults and children in community, hospital and school settings, and also in private practice. Alexa has also completed training in Theraplay and Dyadic Art Psychotherapy and can incorporate these principles into her work with children and their parents/carers.
Alexa set up Next Chapter Arts and also deals with all the paper work and legal stuff.

Dawn Boulton
Director, Art Psychotherapist & Safeguarding Lead

Laura Skidmore
Director
Laura has a degree in Psychology and has worked as an assistant psychologist, a probation officer and a manager of Youth Offending Teams in Leeds and London.
Laura keeps an eye out for exciting opportunities which could benefit Next Chapter Arts and the people who access our services.

Maggie studied Fine Art in the early 1970’s and then worked for 5 years as a Social Worker in Leeds. Her caseload was mainly with young families and those with mental health issues. She later worked as a teaching assistant and went on to spend 12 years managing a centre for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties before retiring.
Maggie now helps us make Next Chapter Arts fabulous!

Art Psychotherapist
Pauline has a MA in Art Psychotherapy and specialises in working therapeutically with children experiencing a variety of emotional difficulties.
Pauline is also a qualified teacher and has eighteen years’ experience of working with children in different settings. In addition to teaching she has worked in a children’s day care centre, in a children’s hospice and with ‘looked-after children’.
Pauline is part of our freelance therapist team at Next Chapter Arts.

Music Therapist
June has a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree and a MSc in Music Therapy (Nordoff-Robbins). She has worked as a community musician with children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and cerebral palsy in Edinburgh. June also has experience of working with older adults living with dementia, mental health problems and chronic neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease.
June is part of our freelance therapist team at Next Chapter Arts.

Rosie is a qualified and professionally registered Art Psychotherapist and Embodied Relational Therapist (ERT). ERT is a type of body psychotherapy. Both images and the body have a lot to say and Rosie's focus is to bring this communication together in sessions and see what wants to happen. Rosie works with children and adults, and has experience in the learning disability service and rape crisis centres.
